Just to let everyone know, I did have to evacuate and was able to get out safely with my six cats and I am living at my cousin's house.
What we know is my basement is completely flooded from the top of the stairs, all the carpet was wet and was estimated to be 1 inch of water. Do not know anymore than that asIcan't get back in the house until they allow my landlord in.
Important thing is that I am safe and so are my family of cats.
